Vincent van Duysen continues his research into the world of modern life by designing this modular Gregor system for Molteni&C. It includes a variety of straight, corner or peninsula units that can be mixed and matched to create many combinations of living space for conversation, reading and entertainment, with all your multimedia devices easily accessible.
The range's many distinguishing features underline the overall lightness of the design . The steel base in a new zinc finish, supported by small legs that refer to the latest VVD furniture designs, such as the Quinten sideboards or the small Jan tables, is covered with leather, as are the armrests with wings on which you can support soft pillows while resting. simultaneously serving as a usable surface.
The backrest refers to the classic approach of the Belgian designer to sofas: large with raised stitching, but with an innovative corner solution, which in this design is rounded to ensure continuity with the form. An alternative to the wing armrest is the trapezoidal, padded, slightly flared version, which provides more comfortable seating comfort.
Gregor is supplied complete with a variety of seat cushions filled with polyurethane foam, as well as soft cushions resting on slim backrests for maximum comfort. Together with the Gregor Vincent Van Duysen sofa, he designed Hubert, a set of small rounded tables covered with leather that fit perfectly into the modular structure of the sofa.
