The Suave collection, in English "soft", is the result of a 5-year cooperation between the world-famous design studio Marcel Wanders and the Spanish furniture company VONDOM. This collaboration plays a key role in the development of VONDOM, launching the first collection in the company's history that combines new materials, textures and fabrics to create a more refined and elegant outdoor experience.
Above all, the Suave collection combines in the boundaries between indoor and outdoor furniture and achieves a higher level of softness, comfort and relaxation. With the Suave collection, VONDOM introduces a new, extremely resistant production method - injected polyurethane - and challenges a decade of production methods that have put the company on the roadmap of international designer furniture.
Reinventing itself, VONDOM conducts meticulous production overseen by over 20 specialists who worked closely with Marcel
Wanders to make his dream come true. Combining craftsmanship with advanced technology, attention to detail with industrial production and blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior, the Suave collection is a reflection of this wonderful synergy.
The collection's pieces include a modular sofa, a pouffe in five different sizes and stylish plant pots, available in three different sizes. Overall, the new textures and delicate fabrics reflect the sensuality, warmth and poetry of Marcel Wanders. “We chose calm, sensual and calming colors to create a welcoming, iconic environment that becomes a place worth being.” Says Gabriele Chiave, creative director at Marcel Wanders.
