Product description

Pyrite - a golden firestone in the shape of a perfect cube, now in a DeOpale brass finish from the Italian manufacturer De Castelli. Both brands excel in handmade production while maintaining the highest quality standards. BOMMA and De Castelli jointly present Pyrite in a special edition. The surface of this hand-blown crystal cube is surrounded on three sides by a brass DeOpale element. This exquisite brass fixture acquires particular chromatic effects thanks to the hand-oxidation of the brass, such as the play of fire opal light characterized by a yellow background with reflections that can be particularly vivid and bright, changing in iridescent tones from red to orange. Both small and large pyrite are available in this DeOpale fine brass finish from De Castelli.
All Bomma products are handcrafted from mouth-blown lead-free crystal. Therefore, any small bubbles, lack of melting and irregularities in the glass are both evidence and characteristics of this traditional craft.
