The Tom Dixon Melt Pendant Copper light fixture is a stunning piece that is sure to add a touch of elegance and sophistication to any space. The shape of the lamp resembles a melted glass ball, creating a unique and intriguing look that is reminiscent of the glass-making process. The irregular shape of the lamp adds to its appeal, drawing in the viewer and piquing their curiosity.

When the light is turned off, the Melt Pendant Copper appears to be a classic copper lamp. However, its true beauty is revealed when the light is switched on. The copper coating becomes semi-transparent, exposing the interior of the lamp. Through the glass-like webbing, you can see the light bulb, giving the impression of an element encased in an acrylic sphere.

The diameter of the lampshade is 30 cm, and it requires a single E27 bulb with a maximum power of 30W. The design of the Melt Pendant Copper was a collaborative effort between Tom Dixon and Front, a Swedish design collective. Inspired by molten glass, the Melt light fixtures are created using a process of blow molding and vacuum metallization to produce melted spheres with exceptional clarity and brightness.

Over the years, Tom Dixon has worked with leading German engineers to develop and perfect these techniques, ensuring that the Melt Pendant Copper lamps provide the latest in reflectivity and transparency. The Melt Pendant Copper measures 160cm in length, 30cm in depth, and comes in a stunning copper/bronze color.
