Product description
Tia Maria is a stool with injected, flame-retardant polyurethane foam on an internal steel frame. Frame/legs are made of tubular steel with a chrome finish or powder coating; on polypropylene glides. Available in fabric or leather. The covers from the Tia Maria collection are not removable. Carefully considered design starts with the frame and the quality of the supports. Ergonomics dictates the seating position. Two complementary approaches to comfort: support and wrapping. Tia Maria chairs and armchairs have an upholstered body that rests on a base; while the chaise longue and armchair have a cover directly attached to the frame, creating a bag that supports and seduces the passenger. The name, taken from a Caribbean liqueur made of coffee and rum, carries a double identity and is an allusion to the play of opposites. Formal and informal posture, symmetry and asymmetry of armrests, angularity and curvature of the frame. All uses are allowed: waiting, resting, relaxing.
