Product description
The seat and its double seat: on one side Clarissa closes and protects, on the other it opens and welcomes. A clear ambivalence that intricately separates form and content, image and concept, the name hood indicates this dual function. The hood is both an ancient and modern urban symbol; it protects and frames the face, but can also conceal it, signaling a refusal to communicate or interact. The impact is intense, and everything is a play of contrasts: the three-dimensional seat seems to suggest the two-dimensional nature of the drawing, the overlapping colors do not divide but complement each other, the tension is not relieved but stabilized. Clarissa is a dynamic armchair, ready for action, but open to relaxation and a temporary suspension of activity. A combination of competition and cooperation, provocation and aesthetics.
Injected flame-retardant foam on a steel frame. Base in lacquered oak.
Available in fabric or leather.
