Product description

Carousel 1212 is a chair made of thick, twisted aluminum rope. To create a design product with a craftsmanship appearance, in line with industrial requirements: this is industrial design. This approach led to the use of many materials for the chair cover, which, like a carousel dress, is an elaborate metal easel, a characteristic sign of UGW's technical and production skills. Different color ranges and combinations are possible on the same frame. The technical fabric version (suitable for outdoor use) is the result of in-depth research and a special pressure molding process that creates shapes that ensure maximum seat and back comfort, as well as high-quality mechanical properties. All these features make up the unique character of this chair. As for the intervowen version, the designer chose to evoke natural and warm tones that support use in various environments. The structure is made of aluminum because this material guarantees more competitive outdoor performance. The armrest, made of a special aluminum profile, embraces and refers to the internal geometry of handmade wood, and through three-dimensional movement defines an elegant iconic sign.
The Carousel collection consists of: four versions of a dining armchair and three versions of a lounge armchair. The easel frame is made of aluminum tube. The seat is made of a sheet of aluminum alloy that is drawn to obtain an even shape and then attached to the aluminum frame by structural welding, made using TIG technology, which ensures particular strength as well as a better standard in terms of aesthetics. The steel backrest structure supports decorative patterns proposed in various materials. All selected materials guarantee long-lasting resistance and color stability. As for the dining armchair, a version with technical fabric such as Fiber Fill for the seat cushion and self-supporting backrest is in the works. This fabric guarantees water resistance. Thanks to the use of the above-mentioned materials, the product is perfectly suitable for all applications in marine environments and extreme weather conditions.
The Carousel collection is produced in Italy. Highly positioned restaurants, high-level hotel restaurants, high-level hotel lounge and reception areas, panoramic rooftops and terraces, various types of private living spaces, coworking and homeworking spaces are just some of the possible end uses of the Carousel collection.
