Jean Prouvé created the first version of the Potence wall lamp in the 1940s for his own home in Nancy: a simple light bulb attached to a long, rotating steel rod, which is held in place by a steel wire. This functional, purist design was soon produced in a variety of sizes, with an additional handle on larger models to facilitate swiveling movement.
Petite Potence has similar proportions to the larger Potence model, while its compact dimensions are ideal for smaller spaces. The swing arm is 103 cm long and is powder coated in colors resembling the original colors used by Prouvé. The cable is in a high-quality textile sheath and the LED bulb is dimmable. Thanks to its reductive aesthetic, Petite Potence is the perfect lighting choice for a variety of interiors, from dining rooms and living rooms to offices or cafes.
