Alibel is a wall lamp that is part of the collection of the same name designed by Alessandro Zambelli. For Luceplan, the Alibel lamp system designed by Alessandro Zambelli marks the beginning of a new direction of research in the creation of track lighting, a typology usually associated with more technical contexts, interpreted in this collection in a decorative way.
The design refers to the natural world and suggests the image of a small insect resting on a pool of water, creating concentric circles. The elegant and lightweight Alibel lighting system includes two light modules to be installed on rails, capable of generating diffused but also accent lighting; The lamps can be supplied (as an option) with a light, slim, ellipse-shaped diffuser. A wall version is also available to complement the offer.
The system is based on a rail with very small proportions that can be attached to the ceiling, built into the surface or hung. The lamp body, made of die-cast aluminum, can be easily attached to the rail with a simple gesture and is equipped with a spherical joint for adjusting the light beam. It can also be equipped with a slim base (Ø 6 mm), which separates it from the rail and brings it closer to the work surface below.
The lamp is available in two geometric formats: symmetrical, with light emission upwards, where the source is located at the top body parts; and asymmetric, down-emission, where the source is placed at the bottom of the body and the optical assembly may provide diffuse lighting or be equipped with lenses for accent lighting. Like elegant, slim lines, the rails create geometric figures on the ceiling, ready to personalize the space and adapt to various installation needs, and the light intensity corresponds to the specifications of the technical lighting design.
For a symmetrical lamp with upward lighting, you can add an oval diffuser in different sizes (50 and 70 cm) to spread a delicate, atmospheric brightness in the room. The lamp is also available with a shade placed in a vertical position. The resulting light provides a strong suggestive effect.
The wall version is also equipped with a diffuser (50 and 70 cm) placed in a vertical position, but this time it is attached to the wall and wired via a small board. Alibel combines technical research and innovation with a vivid, decorative image, creating a lighting system capable of creating unusual and striking scenarios.
