In the case of Pritzker Prize-winning architect Jørn Utzon, his father's marine engineering drawings sparked a lifelong fascination with ships. Such interest is illustrated by the Utzon JU1 pendant, whose characteristic collar shape and sharp lines refer to the industrial silhouette of the ship. First released in 1947, Utzon is currently available in three versions: brass; white; and the original model in separated colors, made of lacquered brass and steel.
