Product description
Jørgen Kastholm (1931-2007) and Preben Juhl Fabricius (1931-1984) were driven by the common mission of creating a pure derivative of the function. Both were architects, they graduated from the Danish School of Interior Design, where they studied with Finn Juhl and then with Arne Jacobsen. The P376 hanging lamp is a perfect example of Kastholm & Fabricius' subtle architectural approach to design. Originally designed in 1963, the five concentric lampshades create a gradation of curves towards the center of the lamp, emitting a soft, diffused light. Discreet lampshade placement and a silky aluminum finish create a cohesive expression that is both iconic and compelling.
