The essential appearance and the base and headrest in drastically reduced sizes are the distinguishing features of di Naoto Fukasawa's design, which provides a great sense of lightness thanks to the base protruding from the entire perimeter of the bed. The top of the back panel, inserted into the base, has a short, rolled-up section that you can comfortably rest your arm on when you're sitting. Two tubular metal brackets support the frame; A version with wheels at the back is available for easy movement. The base frame includes metal mesh with pre-curved beech wood slats.
