Product description

Rpbw is a modular contract sofa made of QM foam available with fabric or leather upholstery. The seat element has an entrance plinth at the bottom. For the upholstery, 3 bodies are made of 12 mm thick plywood, 2 for the armrests and one for the seat and backrest together. The bodies are made of QM foam and Dacron. All 3 elements are upholstered in the same fabric. After upholstery, the 3 bodies are joined together. Plywood finished with black felt at the bottom. The base is attached with legs in the lower part. The furniture from the RPBW collection was created as a result of a long design process in close cooperation between Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Paris and SDC_lab. As a result, several standard elements were created, but many non-standard elements were also designed for the SNCFF project in Athens, which has been open to the public since 2017. The intention was to design seating elements that would blend perfectly into different settings.
