It embodies the original idea of intelligent, space-saving furniture and is therefore as relevant as ever: the M10 table. Erich Brendel designed it in 1924, at the beginning of the Weimar Bauhaus. Since 1981, Tecta has produced the M10 according to the 1924 original under license and in series. The Bauhaus Archive in Berlin only approves faithfully reproduced and licensed reissues of original Bauhaus models. They are marked with the signet ring of Oskar Schlemmer, which he designed for the State Bauhaus in Weimar in 1922. Even today, Bauhaus Tecta models are based exactly on the proportions of the originals.
