Borys Klimek's Night Birds collection is now available in a new version intended for outdoor use.
Night Birds Exterior is identical to the original indoor collection, which was inspired by the freedom and abandonment of bird flight. To withstand the vagaries of the weather, the lamps have been modified to meet the IP54 protection rating for outdoor use, namely by enlarging and weatherproofing the adjustable, hand-polished dural body, which houses a sophisticated balancing mechanism and a subtle LED light source.
The larger and more solid metal body also allows for a wider selection of light sources.
The technologies used in the Night Birds collection are based on the principles of recycling, sustainable development and environmentally friendly production. The basic material used in the lamps is waste glass generated in the production of other Brokis collections. This recycled glass material is processed in several stages using both older glass techniques (hand grinding, sandblasting) and newer ones (melt forming, water jet cutting, shaping with molds), creating a skillful combination of tradition and modernity. Each light is a unique original with its own story.
Like the original Night Birds collection, Night Birds Exterior offers three different lights, each with a different wing position, which are available in white or dark (almost black). From then on, Night Birds feel at home among the elements and the darkness of night, as well as in the comfort of interiors. Inspired by the carefree and freedom of birds' flight, the innovative Night Birds hanging lamps add poetic charm and unparalleled dynamics to any interior. Night Birds differ from other collections in the unique technology used in production, which involves embedding glass into a form and then bending it. This process allows you to introduce delicate nuances into the shape of the wings and obtain a different and completely unique color of the glass each time. The restraint and directness of the collection are emphasized by a minimalist LED light source embedded in a body made of lacquered and polished aluminum. The night birds consist of three lights with different wing positions, representing different phases of the bird's flight. The lamps are available in white and dark versions. Night Birds work best in large flocks.
