Product description

The new Bonbori collection, created by the world-famous Japanese designer Fumie Shibata, is available in both indoor and outdoor versions. The light is inspired by the traditional paper lamps that line the paths to shrines and temples during annual rice harvest festivals in Japan. In Japanese, the word bonbori not only means this traditional form of lighting, but also describes the soft light coming from a snowy cave.
The new lamp uses a simple stainless steel base finished with an environmentally friendly powder coating. The easily removable LED light source casts a soft glow through the diffuser and laser-cut holes in the stainless steel. The similarity to the traditional bonbori lamp is achieved thanks to the elegant, hand-blown glass shade, an extraordinary piece made of many layers of carefully formed glass.
The shade is available in opal and opal glass, and the metal base is available in matte black, matte copper metallic or matte gray metallic.

The soft light of Bonbori pays homage to the traditional Japanese lantern. Skillfully crafted, hand-blown glass and soft luminescence create a magical and festive atmosphere that can be enjoyed alone or with family and friends. The new indoor lamp is equipped with special connectors developed by Brokis that make it easy to disconnect and move it, for example, to a covered outdoor space.
