Product description

Cicladi is a set of low tables with an alabaster top and irregular and jagged edges, available in various heights and colors.
The tops are cut from a raw "egg" of the evaporated mineral. The cone-shaped metal base is available in a variety of heights and colors.
When viewed from above, they resemble islands.
The ever-changing veins, facets and dimensions of alabaster make each of these tables unique.
In addition to natural white, the tables are also available in black, malachite, amber, Pompei red and lapis lazuli blue.
The metal conical base is available in three colors: gold, palladium or ruthenium.
Tuscan alabaster from the surrounding area Volterra was already used in ancient times in Etruria in Paleo-Christian basilicas instead of glass.
It was later discovered by Florentine sculptors and craftsmen who preferred to use it to create valuable decorative objects, but in the Middle Ages it was almost completely forgotten and then discovered by artists in Renaissance period.
