Product description

This historic chair is inspired by the archetypal shapes of architectural geometry. It is a true design icon created in 1982. Designed by the great Swiss architect Mario Botta to furnish the interiors of some of his most famous designs, the Prima armless chair returns to the Alias catalog in a classic textured black finish as well as some other, more contemporary glossy finishes. As in its original design, Prima retained the steel structure and the seat made of perforated steel foil, made of characteristic cylindrical elements made of black polyurethane.
Specification: Chair with a structure made of lacquered steel. Seat made of perforated steel foil, painted and embossed in black or polished in various colors. The back is made of two cylindrical elements made of black polyurethane.
Finiture Salone 2023: Structure and seat made of lacquered steel, polished in a red brick color (A084). Archetypal shapes in architectural geometry inspire these historic masterpieces. Designed by the great contemporary architect from the canton of Ticino for the interiors of some of his famous buildings, they have become classics in the Alias catalogue, icons of made-in-Italy design. The main features are second seats made of perforated steel sheet.
