Nautica is a swivel chair with a structure made of peeled and dyed natural rattan with a diameter of 34 mm/1.33 inches. Backrest made of peeled and dyed natural rattan, 24 mm in diameter. Finished with a three-stage coating (dye, base layer and top layer) characterized by high resistance to solar radiation thanks to UV filters. Pillow upholstered with natural or artificial leather, virgin wool fabric, velvet and polypropylene. Braided polyester rope with a cross-section of 14 mm. “Nautica is a hanging seat that pays homage to one of the first units produced by Expormim in the 1970s. Originally conceived and made of rattan, Nautica is also available in an aluminum version, which is best suited for outdoor spaces while retaining all the flavor of the original design. The swing evokes the contrasts present in the natural world through a delicate and constantly changing play of shadows, reminiscent of light reflections on sea waves. Strong and durable, yet visually light, the swing easily blends into any surroundings, whether suspended on a tree branch or on a self-supporting structure.
