Product description
Eno is a wine storage facility that, as a museum exhibitor, wants to be a gallery of bottles that show off their best feature: the label. The design comes from an order for a wine display cabinet. It is immediately understood as an optimal shelf for selected bottles. The general view of a valuable cellar is often confused, given the differences between bottles in terms of sizes, seals and shapes. Therefore, it was decided to install cowhide covers, which create an impression of uniformity by emphasizing the labels.
Eno is a project by Marina Bani who, at the time she conceived it, was inspired by the Fondaco dei Tedeschi restaurant in Venice: she was so fascinated by the visual power of the obsessive repetition of the gallery that she decided to apply leather arches to frame the bottles and give each of them their own scene. The Eno cabinet is built in a multi-layer wooden frame with a wooden finish. The details are covered with leather, and the backrest is covered with eco-leather. Eno is complemented by a drawer equipped with a pull-out top, both covered with waterproof leather.
A version with glass doors covered with leather is also available.
