Frax MB is a floodlight whose luminaire head is designed to be mounted on a pin, a belt or a simplified holder. In this way, Frax can be easily transformed to be installed between grass, around a tree, pole or other surface. To facilitate the installation of multiple Frax luminaires, a degree scale is integrated on the hinge, ideal for precise aiming and appropriate repeatable lighting effect. With 7 different lighting effects and many installation options, Frax has been designed with about every aspect of urban architecture: any form, any material and any composition. Frax is based on Delta Light's LED Caset® technology, which combines multiple LEDs with individual collimator lenses per LED to generate a clean light distribution . Individual lenses create a multi-layer light distribution to generate a pure 8° or 14° beam angle. Other beam angles or other lighting effects are achieved by adding micro lenses to the front, sculpting the light at 26° or 47° or obtaining a linear or wallwash effect. Frax takes care not only of the perfect lighting effect, but also of the passerby. Frax can be fitted with an additional honeycomb or tip to reduce the ability to look directly into the light source.
