Haze is a hanging lamp that is a modern interpretation of an oriental lantern with collars crowning a rounded form. The lamp has a custom-made, stretched 3D knit cover that fits snugly to the globe, while wooden collars at the top and bottom help hide fabric ends and keep things tidy.
The name HAZE comes from the visual effect of fading around the edges. This effect is created when the illuminated light is gradually masked by the knit fabric as it wraps around the rounded diffuser. Haze has a delicate and approachable personality thanks to its friendly form and approachable materials with knitted melange fabric and natural wood. Haze will be equally comfortable sitting at home or in the office and will work well alone or in a group.
About Haze 3D Knitting - Camira Technical Knitting uses state-of-the-art flat weft knitting technology to provide an environmentally friendly, zero-waste production process using just three basic raw materials - yarn, electricity and a delicate steam finish. Each yarn used, consisting of 100% polyester fibers, is certified according to the global Oeko-Tex Standard 100 standard, which prohibits the use of substances harmful to the environment and human health in textiles. Each cover produced is also accredited to the independently and third party verified EU Ecolabel environmental standard for textiles.
