Stephen Burks is the designer of the innovative Trypta pendant lamp system, the latest solution from Luceplan aimed at improving the acoustic and light comfort of rooms and their inhabitants.
Sound absorption is a key topic today for the company, which has understood this contemporary need for development - starting from 2012 year - a line of multifunctional solutions whose main characters are light and acoustic comfort.
The structure consists of three equidistant panels arranged along the axis of a cylindrical body; the composition creates a pleasant symmetry while providing excellent sound-absorbing properties.
Trypta fits perfectly into any space thanks to two separately activated light sources connected to the ends of the central column, providing both direct and indirect lighting.
Its decorative character emphasized by panels covered with flame-retardant fabric, which give Trypta a unique character. You can create many combinations by combining panels with different fabrics and colors, changing their size and arrangement. The catalog includes panels in three colors and six different sizes.
The central cylinder, available in two lengths, has longitudinal grooves for the radial insertion of three acoustic panels, each at an angle of 120°.
To meet different needs decorative while providing different levels of sound absorption, Trypta can be configured in various ways:
- Flat (with panels of the same size, mounted symmetrically);
- Sliding (with panels of the same size mounted at different heights) );
- Mixed (panels of different sizes, only aligned at the top end).
Aluminum body and two panel ends finished with sheet metal, available in matte black or aluminum finish.
