PH 5 Retake is a steel LED hanging lamp.
The lampshades may have smaller irregularities, curves and dents. The metal surface is treated with dry lubrication to prevent further patination. The lower steel shade will corrode over time if left untreated. If necessary, an occasional application of dry lubricant will help maintain the original finish of the raw metal. Mounted above the table in a small, trendy kitchen in a city apartment or in a row above a long kitchen table in a classic and stylish home, PH 5 Retake provides a cozy atmosphere with truly modern accents. Combining retro with contemporary style, the PH 5 Retake is also ideally suited to fast-growing retail stores, bars and restaurants.
The fixture provides comfortable, glare-free light, based on the Poul principle Henningsen's reflective three-lens system that directs most of the light Down. It emits side light and also illuminates itself, providing a soft glow from within. The frame is a copy of the classic PH 5 and has been stripped of all previous paint, making it look raw and untouched. The internal lampshades made of bare metal provide a particularly delicate reflection of light, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The lower lampshade is also equipped with a frosted diffuser glass, thanks to which the light directed downwards is 100% glare-free.

Finish
The metal surface is raw after removing the old paint. As a result of the stripping process, the aluminum surface finish naturally changes into darker and lighter shades. The lower lampshade made of steel has a different surface and sometimes rust may appear.
