The Fred desk is a meeting of light, almost ethereal geometries. Roberto Lazzeroni creates a piece of furniture in which the visual pleasure of the continuous saddle leather surface is emphasized by delicate, hand-made cuts and cold markings that create refined graphic decorations. A special procedure allows the front of the saddle leather to be curved without the need for internal supports. The perfect companion to the Fred desk is the Ginger chair, designed to make the office even more complete and harmonious.
The structure of the Fred desk is made of solid ash with wenge or moka stain and a triangular cross-section, which emphasizes its lightness. The same material and finish also applies to the drawer that complements the desk, mounted on metal guides with a soft-closing mechanism. The surface is covered with one piece of 4 mm thick Cuoio Saddle Extra leather, without any divisions or seams. The raw edge seam is finished with protective wax and dye. Metal accessories covered with gray galvanic coating and protective varnish.
