Vincent Van Duysen designed Louisa, a set of round and oval coffee tables in which the presence of both wood and cement provides an innovative tactile and aesthetic effect.
The supporting structure, the conical central plinth, is lifted from the floor and inserted into a hollow in it space. Transverse objects, connected freely, simply, lightly, elegantly: the essence of modern design.
Table tops, resembling hanging trays, are made of ash cement, brick or eucalyptus wood and have an original radial motif, obtained thanks to a special procedure of joining the boards .
Notes
The wood structure should match the wooden countertop.
The tin-colored structure matches the ash-colored cement countertop.
The brick-red structure matches the brick-red cement countertop.
