Nelson Bubble lamps are a versatile and unique addition to any interior thanks to their various spherical shapes. The perfectly rounded shape of the Nelson Ball CrissCross Bubble hanging lamp has an interesting contour thanks to the two-part pattern on its bottom. In 1952, Nelson was inspired by a set of Swedish pendant lamps that were painstakingly crafted and covered in silk. However, their high price was a bigger challenge. Nelson decided to create his own set and developed an innovative process that replaced the silk lampshade with a translucent plastic, making them available at a moderate price.
