The d line sanitary appliances series from Knud Holscher combines purity in its lines with purity in its functionality, and unlike our fittings collection, which consists of individual but complementary articles, this series consists of fittings that form a coherent whole.
Wherever they appear, our sanitary products can be flexibly combined with each other, always maintaining the same impression. Their technical design puts installation and maintenance at the forefront to meet the need for impeccable hygiene regardless of how long they stay in a given room.
Simple and modular, d line sanitary products are rust-resistant and rust-proof. The corrosive marine-quality steel withstands high levels of humidity in the bathroom, while its subtly curved edges and functional circular hole details pay homage to the curve of our first products, the Knud Holscher L and U handles. Both inside and out, every detail of every d line sanitary fittings is rigorously tested for trouble-free operation and durability. Then, using the most modern machinery in our industry, each one is expertly handcrafted. Danish architect and industrial designer Knud Holscher has been part of d line from the beginning, creating our first coordinated line of architectural fittings in 1971 as a "modest design designed to last". As a result of this frustrating exercise, Holscher designed a series of award-winning, minimalist architectural fittings for d line, starting with the iconic U and L levers, whose distinctive curve influenced the entire product range.
