Product description
Trame is a modern weekly magazine with six drawers opened using the push-open method, the upper one with a soft-closing system. Inner drawers made of 15 mm thick plywood, mounted on BLUM guides. Made of the natural essence of Canaletto walnut. Wooden base H 20. With engraved decoration T.2A "Infinite combinations of shapes and colors for TRAME, a collection of containers designed by Manuela Pelizzon. Rigorous and essential lines decorated with textures engraved on the surface. History and craftsmanship again weave together, giving life to the Trame collection, in which noble materials and processes are expressed in pure elegance. Trame's pure geometric decorations are inspired by the Japanese "Kumiko", an ancient technique of processing and joining thin pieces of wood without nails. The Kumiko woodworking technique was developed in Japan in times of Asuka (600-700 AD) and has since been refined and passed down through generations of craftsmen. The designs of kumiko pieces are not chosen randomly: many of the nearly 200 models in use today have been in existence since the Edo period (1603-1868). Each the pattern has a meaning or imitates a pattern found in nature, which is supposed to be a good omen. Also for Trame, the decorations have been reinterpreted to bring them back to new, contemporary languages. Not simple furniture, but objects, that evoke emotions at every step. "
