Renowned designer Naoto Fukasawa presents his latest exploration of shape and form in Tuscany, a chaise longue that makes an important contribution to the Molteni&C catalog, inspiring new ideas. In creating the design, Fukasawa interpreted the iconic views of the Italian landscape through the prism of his own aesthetic, combining styling cues in a way that captured the best of both worlds - Italian and Japanese.
Tuscany embodies the idea of comfort with a design expertly tailored to the contours of the body. Its silhouette conveys a sense of lightness and fluidity, rooted in an innovative design that is both visually harmonious and deeply relaxing.

The form is the result of meticulous technical development by the Molteni&C Research and Development Department, which, together with the designer, created the perfect proportions for the unique shape chaise longue. The smooth, rounded legs are made of solid wood and connected by a satin brass H-shaped frame, creating a solid and stylish base for the chaise longue.
The cushions, connected to each other with carefully hidden zippers, create an articulated whole that fits nicely into the structure. They are available in a variety of fabrics and leathers from the Molteni&C textile collection to easily complement a range of interior concepts. The rounded headrest moves independently of the square cushions and is balanced by a metal pin held in place by adjustable straps that keep it in place for personalized comfort.
The Tuscany is available in two versions. The first offers a eucalyptus finish with matte, satin brass. The second is composed of natural Sunrise oak, providing a contemporary balance of light wood and stainless steel.
