Product description
Vincent van Duysen, an expert in the history of modern design, has renewed an archetype created in the 1950s and particularly popular in America: a lounger originally derived from the hammock, a traditional piece of furniture in this part of the world.
Supported by an elegant frame of black ash, eucalyptus or Sunrise oak, Yoell reflects the characteristic feature of a lounger, intended for relaxing on patios, living rooms and terraces with a tropical climate. In his version, Vincent van Duysen emphasizes the difference from the original chair systems, which included textiles or straw for freedom of movement, by designing a completely new element.
The frame, printed and anatomically shaped using a thin layer of polyurethane, finds its natural place by hooking o the two upper and lower frame crossbars. The result is an exceptionally comfortable, comprehensive system that seamlessly connects the seat and backrest. Yoell can be upholstered with fabric, leather or natural leather from the Molteni&C range.
