An innovative design creating a sense of movement and lightness, the latest armchair from creative director Vincent Van Duysen fits into the canon of iconic contemporary seats.
The key to Paula's timelessness are its carefully considered proportions. With a cantilever frame and suspended cushions, the chair is designed to create a synthesis of a soft and inviting seat with a solid and sturdy frame.
Paula's shape is defined by an innovative system of looped leather straps that secure the seat and backrest to the metal frame. Available in natural, tobacco, walnut or mud green, the leather seat and back provide a warm contrast to the matte, polished or sand-colored metal structure.
The matching ottoman was conceived as a visual continuation of the armchair. Its base consists of the same legs in polished or sand-colored metal, and the cushion is attached with the same system of looped leather straps. Both contemporary and elegant, Paula is a visually striking, beautifully crafted piece of furniture that combines modern design perspectives with luxurious comfort.
