Buddie is a seating system designed by Mauro Lipparini that best interprets the contemporary spirit of the Natuzzi Italia 2021 collection, constituting a perfect synthesis of natural inspiration and a nod to the sculptural works of Arp, Moore and Brancusi.
The Buddie abacus is composed of seven different modules , which can be combined according to the needs of each of them, creating linear sofas, corner sofas, relaxation islands, symmetrical or asymmetrical compositions and visionary or more conventional appearances. Each combination can be slightly different from the next, while maintaining comfort and a harmonious and welcoming mood, encouraging free and extraordinary relaxation.
The sloping geometric shapes are supported by invisible non-slip feet, a detail that adds to the comfortable appearance. The backrests, seats and backrests - all perfectly padded with durable but soft materials - fit together, creating overlapping volumes, a detail with aesthetic and functional values, highlighted by a series of irregular seams that emphasize its uniqueness. A project that perfectly embodies the spirit of the Natuzzi design mix, Buddie is a collection where form and function, aesthetics and ethics, creativity and innovation, both technological and emotional, find a perfect synthesis in the name of harmony. And the circle closes.
Available in leather and fabric versions, Buddie expresses its carefree spirit with covers from the Water collection, a new textile design created for Natuzzi by the Dutch textile innovation studio ByBorre, inspired by this Mediterranean movement. Made of yarn that is a combination of very high quality wool and recycled PES, available in five colors, water is a family of fabrics that are luxurious to the touch and feel, and at the same time extremely durable.
