Herzog & de Meuron's admiration for the craftsmanship of woodturning can be seen in the numerous architectural details found in buildings past and present. This passion has resulted in a wide range of turned geometric shapes, including the Knoop knob and hook in marble and ceramic for Danese Milano.
Unlike other varieties, this stone material offers a fresh tactile encounter and is also suitable for use in wet areas. The geometric shape, based on a turned form, has a curved contour adapted to the processing and properties of marble and ceramics.
Two simple geometries, two materials, marble and ceramics, a range of colors, the outline of the coat rack collection are functional and essential. One has a more defined groove, the other is a more elongated hook to accommodate various accessories and clothes and integrate better with the space and furniture.
