The SILHOUETTE seating collection designed by Luca Scacchetti is more than just its overall shape. The profile of its form remains in memory, with the combined shape and shadow creating a silhouette. The design remains externally anti-static and the balance is almost precarious due to the apparent lack of physical contact between the seat and backrest. This double silhouette is repeated between an outer frame of natural or lacquered wood and an inner cushion covered in leather or fabric. This double repetition is intended to emphasize, as if to fix in our memory the image of a slim profile, where technology and elegance meet to create the overall lightness of the set.
The winding lines, crisscrossing between the shapes of the boomerang and the shapes of the bird's wings, were transferred to paper in their basic geometry, with almost Leonardo-like traces.
High, medium or low elements can be made on a sliding spoke, a tubular frame or a single steel column used to build a family of desks and conference tables of any shape and style. They can also be used in public places such as bars, restaurants, lounges or hotels to offer solutions of great elegance for seats that give the impression of floating or hanging.
