The SILHOUETTE seating collection designed by Luca Scacchetti is more than just its overall shape. The profile of its form remains in memory, with the combined shape and shadow creating a silhouette. The design remains externally anti-static and the balance is almost precarious due to the apparent lack of physical contact between the seat and backrest. This double silhouette is repeated between the outer frame in natural or lacquered wood and the inner cushion covered in leather or fabric.
This double repetition is intended to emphasize, as if drawing attention to the image of a slim profile, where technology and elegance meet to create an overall lightness set. The sinuous lines, crisscrossing between boomerang shapes and bird wing shapes, are transferred to paper in their essential geometry, with almost Leonardo-like traces.
Tall, medium or low elements on a sliding spoke, or a tubular frame or a single steel pole can be used to build a family of desks and conference tables of any shape and style. They can also be used in public places such as bars, restaurants, lounges or hotels to offer solutions of great elegance for seats that give the impression of floating or hanging.
