To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cobra lamp, several designers were asked to reinterpret its character through a graphic texture, guided by personal inspiration. A tribute from all of them to Elio Martinelli, who designed the lamp in 1968. 23 creations in a limited edition of 30 signed and numbered copies, to which an invoice was added by a young designer, winner of a competition dedicated to young people up to 35 years of age, Elena Volpi.
"Tattoo" is a collection of my various activities as an architect, designer and sculptor and a painter. My theme fights against all forms of oppression, and the pursuit of individual freedom is omnipresent. I would like to spread a message of hope and reflection through my character named Lola. These are bronze sculptures painted white - a color symbolizing purity and hope. Lola has lucky tattoos. Most of her tattoos express the need for equality between men and women around the world. A message of women's freedom, a message of freedom of dress, a message of religious freedom and a message of tolerance. Her tattoos are symbols of peace. I love the Cobra lamp; it is round and white. The ball is a symbol of unification. I think it fits my topic perfectly. It is a great honor to be able to apply this message of peace and freedom to Cobra.” Donia Maaoui Direct lighting table lamp, consisting of two bodies molded in resin.
The lower body rotates on a lower steel base and is connected to the upper body by a central joint that allows 360° rotation.

The lamp is also available in the standard colors white, black and red, glossy yellow, in the dark blue Scorpius model, as well as in various versions of the Cobra Structure design.
