MARCEL is a floor-standing ceramic washbasin cabinet made in Italy, whose concept is inspired by the sinuous but rational shapes of Bauhaus and the elegance and necessity of producing curved furniture in solid wood and Viennese straw, a characteristic feature of the Thonet family. interpreted in a contemporary way by designers Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano.
With MARCEL, the company continues its design path in which traditional craftsmanship and innovation interact: the result is an iconic model that captures the essence of the past and is at the same time an expression of new trends in life. A solution that brings elegance, lightness and design to the bathroom, in which the softness of ceramics is enhanced by the play of balance between various materials and interwoven textures.
The "pillar rouge" of this unique proposal, which guarantees an aesthetic continuum between the elements, is the craftsmanship: skillful use by Ceramica Cielo of ceramic modeling in its many nuances synergistically combines with the skills of the carpenter, the curvature of ash and the refined weave of rushes (Viennese straw). The result is a distinctive product, a perfect example of the mastery of the company's unique Italian craftsmanship.
The main character is always the ceramics, which, formed by experienced craftsmen, make the washbasin extremely pleasant both to the eye and to the touch. Available in a suspended or tabletop version - on a structure or on a surface - the latter is offered in glossy white and in matte and glossy finishes from the "Terre" and "Acque di Cielo" color palettes.
It was born from a constant looking for the perfect balance between formal rationality and the quality of materials, MARCEL becomes even more functional and unique thanks to the structure, reinforced by the curved design of the chest of drawers - with a front covered with Vienna straw - both offered in natural or black - stained ash wood.
To make the bathroom environment even more expressive, this iconic element is complemented by a MARCEL mirror cabinet with double doors and a Viennese straw front, resembling the front of the chest of drawers, ensuring maximum stylistic consistency and compositional freedom.
