The distinctive style and architectural language of Studio mk27 are clearly visible in Boteco's design, which plays with volumes through layering, removal and addition.
With its strong identity, the Boteco family of sideboards and coffee tables fully expresses Kogan's approach, which considers the planning phase of architecture, interiors and design as "part of one process where the only difference is scale and where the boundaries separating individual territories are blurred" .
Closed spaces and open compartments define the look of Boteco sideboards thanks to a carefully planned combination of materials and finishes.
Sideboards for the living room and dining room, with one open compartment or with a lockable door, have an oak wood structure with a Tobacco or Santos rosewood stain finish with matte polyester varnish and a top with an inlay with a Sahara marble bottom Noir, the same one used outside the open compartment.
The sideboards stand on blade-shaped aluminum legs with a Golden Brown finish. In the dining room version, the interior, the finish of which resembles the exterior, is complemented by a cutlery drawer, and in the four-door sideboard, a glass shelf.
