For La Manufacture, Neri&Hu designed a number of sideboards as part of the INTERSECTION collection celebrating monastic life. The use of natural or stained wood panels in the horizontal and vertical elements and the plinth leg gives this range of sideboards a simple, yet sculptural and monolithic look. Somewhere between a piece of furniture and an altar, this design showcases simplicity expressed through clean and uncluttered lines, evoking traditional and religious furniture that favors functionality over ornamentation.
This high-quality walnut sideboard is available in a variety of sizes and is available in various finishes: natural, dyed plum, off-white or dark green. Despite its simple and austere appearance, this collection designed and developed during the pandemic exudes a certain sense of calm and serenity. It is an invitation to focus on what is really important, on building honest relationships.
