Jack is the result of the first collaboration between B&B Italia and Michael Anastassiades. Known for his skill in working with light, the Cypriot designer has designed a modular shelving system with a striking degree of technological perfection. In search of an innovative language, this design challenge revisits and modernizes a classic design, the 1950s centerpiece, transforming it into a complement with a clean, essential, yet architectural structure. The genius of this element lies in hiding the designed supports, including those supporting the laminated shelves, inside vertical elements with a rounded section made of extruded aluminum and integrated via an exclusive, completely invisible, telescopic floor and ceiling adjustment system. The system is available in 14 heights, from 220 cm to 324 cm and includes all intermediate dimensions, while the shelves are available in two lengths, 75 cm and 90 cm, both with a depth of 30 cm. Two finishes are provided for vertical elements and shelves for single-color solutions, chalk white and black, both matte.
