Originally designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for the new buildings of the University of Copenhagen, Copenhague is a timeless furniture series that combines functionality with a coherent expression. To meet the university's design wishes and ergonomic requirements for a "Strong, Sensual Stackable Wooden Chair," the designers had to create furniture that was aesthetically appealing, stackable, durable and easy to clean. The result is an original and friendly collection configured around a minimalist A-shaped frame that meets all design criteria and combines design history with innovative design.
24 mm plywood top with laminate, linoleum or veneer in various finishes. Beveled edge. The edge of the tabletop matches the finish of the frame. Laminate 1 mm / linoleum 2 mm.
Tilted wooden legs with invisible, integrated, screw-in, adjustable feet that can be extended up to 12 mm to level the table on uneven surfaces.
