Allure is a set of coffee tables with a black stained MDF frame covered with matte lacquer.
Available in three different finishes: glossy distressed alpaca (except Ø110), glossy distressed copper and glossy distressed brass.
Frame: black- stained MDF frame with glossy varnish.
Table top: removable protective foil made of multi-layer polyester.
Every house has its safe havens, real spaces or feelings seen only through the eyes of its inhabitants: a slit of light opening in a window at a certain moment, the curve of a wall accompanying the transition from one room to another, the airy breath of a living room or perspective. With Allure, Baxter highlights these special paradises.
A series of coffee tables that interprets the circle in three different scales and defines one for the rectangular version, balancing the perfect balance of proportions, offering geometry a contemporary interpretation, combining the experience of the most classic forms with the requirements of everyday furnishing . It is a design that we have come to know and love over time, which is taking on a new life.
In the grooves of the solid base we see the reflection of Doric columns, a functional and stable rigor that, on closer examination, also evokes the more conceptual architectural experiences of northern Europe in the 20th century. Handmade makes each table unique; the varied surface of the countertop, sometimes smooth and mirror-like, sometimes oxidized, accompanies us in a dreamlike dimension. We perceive moving, almost holographic images of the world we know, dense shadows and shadows, constantly changing.
In this way, Baxter plays and invites us to play with the senses, starting with touch, exaggerating it down to the smallest details of metal variants in copper, brass and nickel silver, to the eye, opening to the refraction of light in palettes ranging from the warmth of pink and gold to the coolness of silver.
Allure is also available in various heights. Once again, three in the round version and one in the rectangular version, which will help us draw connection points between the sofas and seats of a cozy space or create small islands of peace in our favorite rooms.
