Product description
The Alanda coffee table, an iconic piece of furniture that originated in the 1980s, now returns in tribute to Paolo Piva, the great architect and designer who died last year. A highly successful classic and sought-after addition to vintage furnishings, Alanda is one of the most typical design objects of the period, with a wealth of strong, bold stylistic signs, often in dialogue with architecture, reproducing in miniature its most attractive, characteristic elements. Aland's structure, serving as both plinth and support, resembles a group of inverted pyramids, a geodesic frame that has always characterized it as if it were a magical object, retaining and amplifying cosmic energy. Alanda '18 is offered in two sizes - 120 x 120 cm and 120 x 180 cm - with a structure in shiny black painted steel and a top in very light or smoked glass.
