Product description

Two impressive aluminum beams connected by two side supports are the concept of the first table designed by Michael Anastassiades for B&B Italia. A basic design with a minimal and essential vision – a concept that becomes an object. The search for extreme simplicity is often accompanied by the need to find cutting-edge technical solutions, and Parallel Structure is a perfect example of this. To maintain the purity of the design, great attention was paid to the detail of the connections, the relationship between the purity of the form and the structural elements, and the combination of different materials. The legs are made of solid wood, while the side supports - bands connecting colorful aluminum rods - hide a metal core, necessary to ensure solidity and greater visual lightness of the structure. The collection includes two sizes and tops made of different materials: Canaletto walnut and four oak variants - light, gray, black and smoked - to choose from which prefers a minimal aesthetic or glass, which highlights the beauty of the engineering process through transparency. This table creates a pure and monolithic presence in which apparent simplicity removes everything superfluous. Starting with the name, Parallel Structure is a product that naturally brings an architectural approach to the world of design.
