Tense Curve was created as a result of the challenge of shaping the tabletop to better suit the relationships between people around the table. When creating the new shape, the designers were inspired by Lamé curves, here the name "curve". Tense Curve is the icon of the MDF Italia collection, a design that develops and evolves in terms of its own strength. Tense Curve is available in 1 height, W73 cm and 6 sizes.

Technical data

Monochromatic version
- matte white, made of acrylic resin and rock minerals. Table top, edges and legs covered with a 3mm thick resin plate.

Mono-material version
- Natural oak wood with transparent acrylic finish. Tabletop, edges and legs covered with 3 mm thick solid wood
- Stone, reconstituted stone, transparent acrylic finish. The tabletop, edges and legs are covered with a 3mm thick layer of material.
- Carbon, made of solid, natural oak wood, 3mm thick, subjected to surface acid etching using natural acids without chemical additives.
It is an innovative process inspired by alchemists of the past, allows you to change the organic properties of wood.
The reaction of tannins contained in the wood causes a natural "burning", which gives the surface a unique charring effect.
Contact with natural acid enhances sensitive wood with shades and colors of warm, intense black , rich in natural gradations that are not uniform but unique.
The natural surface is characterized by a special, intensely matte finish that is rough and worn, providing a real visual effect and tactile experience for the user.
Tabletop, edges and legs covered with a sheet of material about 3mm thick.
- Marble, a special finish, reconstructed marble, is made from marble dust, which has been mixed with a filler and then spread manually over the entire surface of the table. The tabletop, edges and legs are covered with a
3mm thick material board.
Finishes: black ebony and white Carrara marble
- Diamond (shiny red): innovative material processing and stratification technique that reveals the tabletop , its properties and depth of color.
The material stratification process is based on a special mass-colored concrete resin with a thickness of approximately 3 mm, which is expertly combined with a binder and applied by passing on top in a deliberately irregular and non-uniform manner.
Another combination of black patina, rough, dynamic and with a lot of shadows, and a surface finish consisting of different layers of polyester, extremely thick, smooth and very shiny, creates an original lens effect, distinguished by color and depth.
The surface, edges and legs using a 3 mm thick material consisting of a mass-dyed cement base and a glossy polyester surface finish.
