Product description

Tense is a table with a monochromatic finish. The important technological innovation it contains, combined with the tensile strength of the components, allows the construction of large-sized tabletops that remain perfectly flat and at the same time exceptionally light.
Frame and tabletops
Table available in versions:
- white matt, made of acrylic resin and rock minerals. The table top, edges and legs are covered with a 3 mm thick resin sheet.
- matte black and medium gray acrylic resin and the latest generation high-pressure FENIX layered laminate.
Tabletop made of layered laminate, dyed in the mass; edges and legs made of acrylic resin and rock minerals. The 35 mm thick tabletop is a load-bearing composite board made of an internal frame consisting of aluminum profiles and Styrofoam filling (matt white version) or an acrylic resin honeycomb and two outer layers of aluminum (matt black or medium gray version). Steel legs, dimensions 35x35mm, with internal structural bonding. The acrylic resin coating has the same matte color as the top.

The Tense table is an icon of the MDF Italia collection, a project that develops and evolves in terms of its own TENSE.
Today Tense, together with Tense Material and Tense Intarsia, is available in:
- 5 heights (H35, H45, H73, H90, H110)
- 36 sizes
- 12 finishes
- over 170 types
- about 1584 variants
- 1 thickness, only 35 mm.
Access from above
Tables are also available in a version equipped with 1 or 2 cable access from above and below .
The metal cable trays are telescopic (7/10 cm high), which allows for the placement of various cabling systems, e.g. multi-point boxes, etc. Cabling systems and electrical parts are not included. A steel cable spring (optional) can be inserted into the cable holes of the cable tray to guide the cables to the floor.
Top access is made of aluminum (size 127x350 mm) in three versions:
>- Single cable with silent closing
- Double cord
- OPTIONAL, single cord with soft closing, with insert in the same table finish.
Top access finish:
- matte white lacquered with tables in the same color matt white
- matt black varnish

Technical data

MOREMATT interprets high-pressure sandwich laminate in a new way. Compact and exceptionally thick, with a mass tint, it has been developed to provide the best properties typical of laminated products, with particular emphasis on a decorative appearance.
Morematt laminate is characterized by a 3/5 gloss opacity and a satin, silky feel and has a special treatment a surface that eliminates the effect of sweaty, greasy fingerprints, so it remains intact and stain-free. Thanks to its high surface resistance, it is suitable for home use, where particular resistance to abrasion and scratching is required.
Tabletop made of layered laminate, dyed in the mass; edges and legs made of acrylic resin and rock minerals.
The 35 mm thick tabletop is a load-bearing composite board made of an internal frame consisting of aluminum profiles and polystyrene filler (mono-material version) or an acrylic resin honeycomb and two outer layers of aluminum (monochromatic version).
The acrylic resin coating is in the same matte color as the countertop.
