Product description
2012 Bell Table became the starting point of cooperation between Sebastian Herkner and ClassiCon. In just a few years, the design has almost achieved the status of a classic - probably because it also fascinates with the unexpected use of materials. First of all, glass, a material that is intuitively associated with properties such as "filigree" and "fragility", in this case provides solid support in the form of a colorful and transparent table base. On top: a metal block that, despite its weight, appears to be floating and light. While these two elements create a suspenseful contrast, they also create a harmonious whole reminiscent of the elegant curves of a bell. In 2020, the Bell Table series will be expanded: Bell High Table joins Bell Side and Coffee Tables. Due to its dimensions, it is perfect as an attraction in every living room and dining room and for presenting special objects in halls and public places. It is worth emphasizing the masterful craftsmanship that enables the creation of the largest version of the Bell Tables. Also in this case, the base is traditionally hand-blown into a wooden mold - which is very unusual for an object of such dimensions. Each Bell table is handmade and is a unique piece, characterized by distinctive features such as different glass thicknesses, small bubbles and irregularities. Handmade table. Base made of hand-blown smoke gray glass. Metal top frame in solid brass with clear lacquer. Glass top, crystal top, lacquered black or marble top in various versions, polished and impregnated.
