Product description

Thanks to its low, lateral shape and subtle contours, the backless version of Ascent can move clearly through interiors without hiding other elements of the space. The backless design and open chassis allow full visibility of all areas, making the open-plan environment appear more spacious and safer. Each part is modular and can be quickly and easily reconfigured for a new design when requirements change. New components can be introduced to create backrests, change the angles of curves, or completely change the shape configuration. The low profile of the bench eliminates barriers between people and services, making all parts of the public space appear more accessible.
Ascent Double Bench 200
The Ascent Double Bench 200 is 2000 mm wide and provides 8 seats.
Ascent 60° Double Bench
The Ascent 60° Double Bench is a 60-degree curved module with 6 seating capacity.
Ascent Double Bench End
The Ascent Double Bench End Module complements any Configuration Ascent double bench. NOTE: This section cannot be combined with armrests, tables or chargers. As the name suggests, Ascent is a seating system that takes public space furniture to a new level. The series was created in consultation with architects and planners to create a flexible, modular system that can change and adapt as its surroundings evolve. Designed with place-making in mind, Ascent's soft contours, smooth textures and sustainable wood make the interiors of public spaces warmer and more welcoming.
Ascent received the 2021 Red Dot Award for Product Design.
