Product description

The 153 bench is light, versatile and will work equally well in public and private spaces. The seat is made of solid birch wood and has vertical recesses that make the bench light and easy to move. Combining strength with the warm organic properties of Finnish birch, Bench 153 blends naturally with other members of the L-shaped leg family. Thanks to Aalto's groundbreaking L-leg system, the legs can be mounted directly to the seat, without the need for complex connecting elements. Designed by Alvar Aalto in 1945, the 153 bench is a late and much-loved addition to the collection with L-shaped legs.
Available in lengths of 112.5 cm or 72.5 cm and in natural, black or white birch.
L-shaped legs and birch top.
Coating options: natural varnish, white varnish, black varnish, green/yellow ColoRing, pink/purple ColoRing, red/turquoise ColoRing.
